If you have been trying to find a way to create a pdf that your students or clients can actually fill out then this tool is just what you’ve been looking for…
**But just before you get stuck into this great new tool, please make sure you subscribe to my blog. That way, whenever I find a new tool or freebie for you and write about it on my blog, you’ll get an email to let you know.**
Okay so back to my cool new tool.
It’s called PDFescape and you can download it here.
Whether you are creating workbooks for your students or questionnaires for your clients this tool is brilliant for turning a once un-changeable pdf into something that your students/clients can actually use.
By the way, if you’re thinking of creating an online course or want a professional way to deliver tutorials to your clients or students then you might also be interested in this post
So back to pdfescape. Just go to https://www.pdfescape.com/download/ and it should download automatically for you, if it doesn’t then just scroll down the page until you see the red button that says “free online pdf editor” and click on it. It looks like this…
Once you have it in your downloads just click on it and follow the installation wizard.
Once installed you will need to refresh the page so that it opens it for you. You then need to open the program on your desktop and click on create an account. There is a full tutorial on their site to show you exactly how to get started and use it properly so check that out before you get started.
Pro Tip: You can use some of the functions totally free first by clicking here, but if you want to be able to do more fancy stuff with it such as change the file format then you will need to upgrade to a paid version at some point.
I would recommend that you have a play with the free version first though so that you get the hang of it. It gives you the option to create a pdf from scratch or upload one to amend.
You can add amendable boxes to your pdf so that although your content can’t be messed with or changed, the boxes can be filled out online which saves your clients/students having to print them – so great for the planet too 🙂

Back soon with more great stuff.
If you want to get your business to become profitable without spending the family’s savings then you need to be doing the right things and using the right tools.
Don’t do what I did and spend hundreds or thousands of dollars over the next 12 months trying to figure out how to become profitable, instead spend a little bit of time now and set your business up for success from day one for a fraction of the cost.
I have found some really great resources and tools that will help you to build a profitable business at a fraction of the cost that you may have thought it would be and I’m going to share them with you here…
Note –This post includes affiliate links. If you make a purchase through these links I’ll earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps us support the running of this website and continue to publish helpful content. I use any company I recommend for my own business, which is why I’m happily an affiliate! Thank you all for your support!
The first thing you can save money on is your website. There are so many companies out there that will host your website that it can be confusing and overwhelming to know which one to go with. Here’s my advice…
There are lots of options to choose from when it comes to getting your first website and it can be a little overwhelming not knowing who or what to choose.
I have a few options here for you that I have personally used and can recommend, or that I have used because my clients use them and can recommend. They are specifically chosen because they are all under $4/mo for the domain name AND hosting and their service is excellent too.
UK Based Option
If you are UK based then I can wholeheartedly recommend TSO Host. I have been running my websites with them now for 5 years and their service is excellent and you can get up and running for just £2.91 per month for 2 years.
You do have to pay this amount up front, but still, it’s just £70 to get a domain name and hosting service which is fixed at that price for a whole 24 months. This is by far the cheapest and best UK option as far as I’m concerned, and I’ve tried a few over the years. If you use my link you will get 10% off too. Just add Nov-offer in the promo code bit at check out.
USA Based Option
If you are US based then there are a few more options for you to choose from. I have put together 3 for you to have a look at to see which would suit you best. They are the cheapest options I could find but with the best service.
Like I said, I have had personal contact with each of these which is why I am recommending them because I know they will deliver a great service for you and at an incredibly cheap price. They are:
There are obviously lots more besides to choose from but I have only got personal experience with these 3 providers at this cheap a cost. Please feel free to shop around and maybe let me know of any others that you find that are a similar or cheaper price.
So, now that you have your website sorted you need to decide how you are going to present yourself online.
The next thing you need to do is get your branding sorted out. This is important because you want people to begin to recognise you online. It is a very crowded marketplace and you want to stand out and be noticed.
If you can afford it then obviously a branding expert would be the best choice for this, but you can create some amazing logos and images on Canva.com for free, and this would be okay to get you started. If you would like to know more about how to do this then please see this post “12 Free & Easy Tools For Technophobes“
Have a look at how other people in your industry/field/sector have branded themselves. What colours have they used? What fonts do they use? What images are they using?
Canva has templates that let you create Facebook and other social media cover images so that you can create a consistent branding across all your social media platforms.
For some basic advice on how to brand yourself, at least to begin with, download my free slideshow here (NO, you don’t have to give me your email address it is totally free and no catch)
Once you are happy that you are going to be easily spotted anywhere online then it is time to start promoting yourself!
There is no need to pay to get noticed on social media- although if you go down the free route you need to prepare yourself for it to take a long time to get momentum going.
That said, if you choose your platfom well you can start to see results really quickly WITHOUT having to pay for them.
Make sure you choose the platform where your ideal customer is likely to be hanging out. For younger people this may be Snapchat or Youtube, for middle aged women this would be Facebook or Pinterest and for more professional services then maybe LinkedIn would be better.
Do your research and find the best platform for your audience. Pro Tip: Have a look and see where the gurus in your sector are concentrating their efforts, this is where you need to be because they have already figured out that it’s the best place to reach your audience.
You are then going to need something to entice your customers to subscribe to your blog, or give you their email address in exchange for it so that you can follow up this warm lead.
(Since writing this post, GDPR has become law and you need to make sure that your lead magnets, subscriber opt-in forms and landing pages are all compliant. You can find out more about GDPR here)
This could be a free email mini course, a free session or consultation or money off coupons. Make sure you promote this prominently on your social media profiles (yes profiles) and not somewhere stuck in a post that will be lost after 5 minutes.
In your profile make sure you mention how you help your customer and give the link to your “freebie”. This way you are more likely to get subscribers to your blog or enquiries for your business.
Building a list is vital if you want your business to grow quickly. For a free downloadable e-book that shows you exactly how to go about this then please check this out “List Building For Profit”
It is written by one of the worlds most successful online marketers and is packed full of great actionable steps for you to follow.
Once you start getting people subscribing you need somewhere to build and maintain your list and somewhere where you can respond to these people once they have subscribed.
To do this you need an auto-responder service such as Mailchimp or Aweber. I have used both these services and can recommend both, although Mailchimp does let you do more for free to begin with so I probably would start there if you are on a tight budget.
Being able to follow up with your subscribers is crucial because they are showing an interest in what you have to say or sell which means that they are warm lead. Warm leads are much easier to convert than cold leads and this means more sales.
This is priceless. By following someone else’s example you are cutting out your learning curve massively and won’t end up spending money on things that don’t work or won’t give you a good return on your investment, be that time or money.
I found 2 of the worlds best online marketers and subscribed to their mentoring programme. This was invaluable for me and I have since built a whole new career and online business based on what they taught me.
They are actually offering a free trial at the moment so why hot have a look at them and see what they are about and if you think they might be able to help you to achieve your business goals too.
They are called the Six Figure Mentors and are headed up by Stuart Ross (UK) and Jay Kubassek (USA). They have an online digital academy that teaches students to sell anything to anyone anywhere in the world.
If this is what you are looking for then I can again whole-heartedly recommend them as I have worked with them now for 3 years and went all the way up to their gold programme.

And now, if you’re still here and reading, I will tell you a bit more about what I do 🙂
I’m primarily a blogger and business mentor. I help small businesses and new entrepreneurs get up and running faster by sharing my knowledge and experience so that they don’t make the same mistakes I did, and boy did I make a few howlers!
But of all the things I do, writing, and blogging in particular, is my favorite.
Writing is a skill like any other. It is learnt and it is developed over time with practice. Blog writing is a different skill again, the style is different and the format is less formal. There is also a certain protocol involved in blogging, and unless you get it just right, there is probably little chance that enough people will read your content to make a difference in your business.
Well, to get sales online you need HUGE amounts of eyes on your posts or content. This is because the conversion rates online are so tiny. As an average (and I know this does obviously alter depending on industries, what you’re selling etc.) only 2% of the people who get to read your blog or see your offer will go on to buy from you.
Don’t take it personally, it’s just the way it is. Partly because people are very suspicious of people online. They think you will steal their money, steal their identity or worse, steal their Snapchat friends.
So to get sales online you really have 2 options…
2. Improve your conversion rates
I would recommend both to be honest. If you improve your conversion rates then you will get a higher percentage of your viewers making a purchase. If the initial number of viewers is also higher then you will obviously be making even more sales.
Sorry, even I didn’t really understand that explanation. Let’s see if can do better.
So as you can see, the percentage only has to go up a little bit to significantly affect the number of customers you could potentially get.
Whether you need content for your business website, or you need a blog post, I can help. Please have a look at some examples of my posts on this site:
on my blogging site:
and I have even had some articles published
I have been writing articles, blog posts and business pages for clients for a few years now (although I can’t share their sites and content, I can show you what they think of me…
Cynthia has started a new business and wanted to blog about it so that she could share her website. I wrote the first few posts for her and showed her what to do and now, as you can see, she thinks of herself as a confident blogger.
Eleanor wanted to blog about her pet creations but hadn’t the time so she asked for help. I have created some posts for her that promote her models and paintings and they have also got her site ranked on Google for the keywords she wanted.
I hope I have given you a good idea of what a content writer is and how I could help you. If you would like any further information please don’t hesitate to contact me.
How does SiteGround compare to other hosts? Well that depends on what you are looking for from a host of course.
You know that I’m all about finding things that are free (or the cheapest I can find) for my clients and subscribers, well here is something you are most definitely going to want to know about.
SiteGround is comparing very, very well to the top 12 hosting services in the marketplace. So what are you looking for in a host?
Is it a speed thing?
If you are looking for a host that can give you super-fast loading speeds for your website then look no further. SiteGround came 2nd out of 12 for the fastest speeds from the top 12 hosting services in the market.
This is something you need to consider as from this year Google is rank sites according to their loading speeds. Sites that are slow to load are going to be ranked lower than those sites with faster loading speeds. Just a heads up.
Is it a security thing?
If you want peace of mind that your site is secure and not likely to be hacked by anyone then there is no one better than SiteGround. They came out top for security when compared to the other top 12 hosts.
SiteGround were the pioneers in applying effective account isolation mechanisms to the shared hosting environment. Nowadays, most of the shared hosts apply similar techniques but it is still possible to see an environment that is not properly isolated.
Is it a service thing?
SiteGround pick up immediately. Only two other hosts out the 12 tested did this. 90% of the other tested hosts did not have a non-US service line. Their typical resolution time is around 8 minutes compared to the average time of 21 minutes across many of the other hosts tested.
I don’t know about you, but I get really annoyed and frustrated when I have to waste my valuable time trying to get a problem sorted out. In business time is money so every minute I am on the phone to someone who is slow to pick up or not able to help me is costing me money. I for one can appreciate the value in speedy and effective customer service.
Note –This post includes affiliate links . If you make a purchase through any of the links on this post I’ll earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. It helps us support the running of this website and continue to publish helpful content. I use these recommended services for my own business, which is why I’m happily an affiliate! Thank you all for your support!
Or is it that you just want someone to give you an option that covers it all?
For excellent speed, security and service there is no comparison to SiteGround. You can see the results for yourself. They score top marks in every category and what’s more, they are one of the cheapest hosts that I have ever found having full hosting packages starting at just $2.75/mo
They offer an SSL certificate (the padlock thing on Google that shows that you are a secure site) for free. Most other hosting services charge at least $40 for this. I recently paid £80 for 2 SSL certificates for my 2 websites so I know the value of this particular service.
I also know that they are extremely knowledgeable and can usually talk you through what you need to do over the phone without having to lose valuable time out of your business or having your website down while you try to figure out how to attach the bloomin thing to your site – again, I know the value of that service.
So how does SiteGround compare to other hosts? Well I think I’ve answered that (with a little help from them). From personal experience and the experience of my clients who also use this host for their blogs and websites I can honestly say that you would have to go a very long way to find anyone better.
To get the best hosting you can possibly get, join SiteGround today (Oh, and by the way, they give you a refund if you’re not happy with them so there’s absolutely nothing to lose in trying them out). Just click here and get started today.
I would love to but I am already hosted by someone else
That’s okay, SiteGround can transfer your account to them for free. Just sign up to the package you want and then they will tell you exactly what you need to do to get your site transferred to them.
I hope you have found this post useful. If so then please share it with others by clicking on a share icon of your choice.

In this post I am going to share with you how Pinterest is making a monumental difference to my affiliate marketing – and, more importantly of course, how it can help your business too. (If you want to know more about affiliate marketing and how you can get started or how to get better at it, then this free video series is a great start)
Are you new to affiliate marketing and don’t know how to start getting traffic to your promotions or blog? Or are you someone who has been marketing for a while but just doesn’t seem to be getting anywhere in terms of clicks and conversions?
I feel your pain, I do. I was there just a short while ago, but then I found this out…
It was this one piece of information that changed everything for my affiliate marketing business and got me THOUSANDS of viewers in just 2 months (39,624 as of Sat 5th May 2018).
I have over 39,000 viewers of my content and, more importantly, as you can see 759 of them are engaged which means they are clicking, sharing, commenting or taking some other action. I must also point out that I only started working on this account on 1st Mar 2018, just over 2 months ago.
Look here at the figures when I started compared to where they are at today…
So what was the one piece of information that I found out that made all of this possible?
Okay, are you ready?
Here it is….
Wait for it…..
Okay I’ll quit teasing (or annoying you)
This is the one thing that has led to that monumental change in how many people are getting to see my content and my blog.
Knowing that Pinterest is not a social media site but in fact a search engine made me think about it and use it in a totally different way.
Imagine Google but with pictures. This is exactly what Pinterest is. A visual Google. People search for ideas and information by entering key words into Pinterest’s search bar (exactly as they would in Google, Bing, Yahoo or any other search engine) but instead of just a load of text, images are shown to the user.
These images are the pins that you see on Pinterest. When you click on the pin it takes you to the website or blog of the pinner – OR the landing page, offer, promotion or page where you want your customers to land and take action. This action could be either to sign up, buy now or join a waiting list.
Can you imagine how having, on average, over 39,000 viewers per month seeing my content has improved my click through rate, my leads and my sales? Well I’m here to tell you it’s AMAZING.
But I don’t want to take the credit for this amazing piece of information. No, credit where it’s due, it came from this lady. She taught me everything I now know about how to use the power of Pinterest to drive viewers to my blog and so increase leads and sales and she can help you to do the same in just a few days.
She has developed a course called Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing and if you are ready to grow your blog to the same figures I have in just a month or so then I can highly recommend this course. It is amazing value and packed full of useful, actionable steps, as you can see from my own results.
Firstly, I would recommend that you do get your own blog and for 2 good reasons:
Don’t worry, if you want to get your own blog you can do it here for as little as £2.91 per month Use my link and get 10% off. Just enter Nov-offer in the promo code box at checkout) and if you’re worried about how to go about it, I have a full tutorial that you can download for free here
But for now…
To get your affiliate links out on Pinterest you first need to create a pin. This is an image with some text in it like the example below:
You can create your images for free using a fantastic tool called Canva.com. Once you have created your pin you can then simply add your affiliate URL to the pin, add a key word rich description and promote it on your boards or group boards that you belong to. Michelle will show you how to do all of this in her course Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing.
It’s quite simple when you think about it isn’t it? The more people who get to see your post, offer, sale etc, the more chance there is of someone clicking on it. The more people who click through to your post, offer or sale, the more likelihood there is of someone taking action and giving their email address or buying your product or service.
Sales is, and always has been, about numbers. The whole point of advertising is to get more eyes on your offer. But advertising can be extremely costly, and unless you are an expert in copy writing, the chances are, you won’t make much of a return on your investment, if any.
Pinterest comes into it’s own here. It gives you the chance to get thousands more eyes on your promotions without having to pay a single penny. Wow.
First you need a strategy. Pinning without purpose is only going to lead to frustration and burn out. You need a strategy which you can do consistently that will enable you to see what is working and what is not so that you can continually tweak and adapt it for your audience so that you get better and better results.
You need to be prepared to work hard. There is no such thing as a get rich quick option online, I don’t care how many dubious people are out there telling your there is. The danger of not realising this early on is that you will fall foul of the Shiny Object Syndrome. You will constantly change your strategies and tactics thinking this will be the one, only to find out that 2 years later your are no further forward. (been there, done that).
You need to be able to create pins that are going to attract people to them initially and then encourage them to click on them so that you can tell them more. Creating multiple pins is also a strategy I would encourage, although you need to do this properly if you are not going to appear as spammy.
You need to join group boards, lots of them. Pinterest is full of people just like me, and you, who are growing their followers and viewers. If they follow your pin or board then all their viewers get to know about it so this means more potential viewers for you. Group boards encourage people to share and it is this sharing that will grow your viewers to amazing numbers in just a tiny amount of time.
You need to start sharing other people’s pins and content. Your boards need to look like they are a curated collection of things related to a specific topic. Pinterest will reward you for great boards that share and show other people’s content by sharing more of your content. win win.
You need to look professional and organised. Sort your boards out so that they only contain content relating to what the board is about. If you want an “allsorts” board that’s fine but make it secret so that only you can see it.
Make sure that your boards have keywords in their descriptions so that people can find them and that they have the same (or a similar) cover image.
Follow Google’s rules for affiliate marketing so that you don’t get black listed and your blog ends up not being shown to anyone.
Again, Michelle covers all of this in her course which I found immensely useful and informative and hopefully I am now blogging in a legal and ethical way and also in a way which Google, Pinterest and other search engines approve of. Start her course here today.
There are so many ways to make money online and affiliate marketing is only one of them, although I believe it is by far the easiest and quickest way to get started.
If you are a little further along in your business and would like to learn a lot more about online marketing, list building, attraction marketing and just about anything else that involves marketing and selling goods online (whether your own or those of other people) then I would encourage you to have a look at this guy.
I started my internet journey with Stuart about 4 years ago, so I know for a fact that you are in great hands, and the amount of stuff he will teach you will be mind blowing. Whether you want to grow and develop your existing business or start from scratch in a new one, he will be able to show you the right way to do things so that you maximise every pair of eyes that you get on your content.
Knowing how to sell anything, to anyone, anywhere in the world has completely changed my life and I have this guy to thank for all that.
So, if you are looking for a way to get extra visitors to your blog or offers then Michelle is your girl and will show you how to use the power of Pinterest to make a monumental difference to your affiliate marketing. Work with her here
If you are ready to take all those extra viewers and grow your business to six or seven figures then Stuart is your guy. He will show you how to build and use a list of subscribers that could potentially bring in millions from your blogging and affiliate marketing efforts. Work with him here
I really hope that you have found this information useful and that you will look at Pinterest with new eyes from now on, and get on their and make magic happen. I would love it if you would share this post with others who you think might benefit from it. I have included some popular social media links so please just click away.
