The answer is probably no. I mean, did you do a business administration diploma? I’m guessing not.
I haven’t written this post to discourage you from starting your own business, quite the opposite in fact. I want you to start your own business because I firmly believe that there is no better way of earning a living.
I don’t want you to struggle. I don’t want you to go through the frustration and overwhelm that most new business owners go through. No, I want you to get your business up and running as fast as possible. I don’t want you to waste money on things you don’t need, I don’t want you to waste time learning things you will never need to do again. I just want you to start generating leads and attracting customers as soon as possible.
This takes time though, about 2 years usually. Yes, that’s right. You better get used to the idea that it’s going to be about 2 years before you actually start making any real money from your business.
However, there is a way you can massively reduce this time scale…
You can work with someone who already knows what to do and when to do it. By knowing how to set everything up in your business, how to attract new leads, how to respond automatically to those leads, how to create a sales funnel and how to get all those parts integrated and working together will save you months of messing about.
Yes you can look it all up on YouTube. You can hope it’s the right information for your platform, you can hope it’s still relevant and legal (but would you know if it wasn’t?). You can Google the answers to all your questions – if you know the right questions to ask.
